AIDS Awareness Month PR June 2015 June 27th is National HIV Testing Day It does not discriminate against gender, race, age, religion, or neighborhood you live in.  It typically shows up uninvited and people are usually devastated to hear of its presence.  What is it?  It is not your new neighbor and it is not the town sheriff.  It is the Human Immunodeficiency Virus, better known as “HIV”.   HIV is spread through the blood, vaginal fluid, semen, and breast milk of people infected with HIV.  Most people get HIV by having sex with an infected person, sharing a needle or by simply being born to an HIV infected mother.  Those that are educated on how to prevent, treat, and live with HIV / AIDs are people who care about themselves and those around them.  As cliché as it may be, knowledge truly is power.  June 27th is National HIV Testing Read the full article →

Ingredients: 1 Bunch Kale 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil 1 Teaspoon Seasoned Salt Directions: Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper. With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt. Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.
