After earning his undergraduate degree from Columbia College at Columbia University, Dr. Perfetti graduated with the highest honors of summa cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to earn both his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine, graduating at the top of his class and receiving the prestigious honors of Alpha Omega Alpha and Delta Omega.
Dr. Perfetti completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, where he served as chief resident. He then pursued advanced training through a spine surgery fellowship at the renowned Texas Back Institute, a center internationally recognized for pioneering Total Disc Replacement in the United States.
Originally from Scarsdale, New York, Dr. Perfetti has long been passionate about athletics. He played competitive soccer for F.C. Westchester, winning three New York State Championships and a National Championship at Disney. While attending Columbia University, he transitioned to football and played four years as a Division I kicker and punter.
Today, Dr. Perfetti brings the same discipline, teamwork, and commitment he developed as an athlete to his medical practice—helping patients get back to living active, healthy lives.
