Dr. Alpesh D. Shah Awarded As 2024 NY Top Doc

Dr. Shah is board-certified in orthopedic sports medicine and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. With specialized expertise in sports injuries, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, and fracture treatment, Dr. Shah delivers outstanding care to patients across Long Island. He is currently affiliated with Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Long Island Jewish Valley Stream, Mount Sinai South Nassau, and Lynbrook Surgery Center.
Dr. Shah received his medical degree from the SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn before completing a General Surgery Internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Shah serves as the Orthopedic Residency Director and Orthopedic Medical Student Coordinator at South Nassau Communities Hospital, nurturing the next generation of orthopedic specialists.
