NY Top Dentists Approves Dr. Varsha Reddy For 2024
Varsha Reddy, DDS has been reviewed and approved by NY Top Dentists based on merit for 2024.
Dr. Reddy began her academic journey with a degree in Behavioral Biology from Johns Hopkins University before graduating with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. Driven by a passion for pediatric dentistry, she completed her residency at New York Medical College and further specialized in pediatric dentistry at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Throughout her career, Dr. Reddy has built a reputation for excellence in both clinical care and practice leadership. In 2005, she joined Dentistry of the Palisades, where she partnered with Dr. Edward Fisher to grow the practice. After Dr. Fisher’s retirement in 2015, Dr. Reddy continued to lead the practice, overseeing its exciting relocation in 2018 to a brand-new, state-of-the-art multi-specialty facility, which she built alongside her husband from the ground up.
A board-certified pediatric dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Reddy has made it her mission to create a “dental home” for her patients, fostering a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe and supported. Her approach is especially focused on helping young patients overcome their fears and anxieties, explaining each procedure in a way that empowers them to feel at ease during their visits. She also specializes in treating special-needs children, a role she finds incredibly rewarding.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Reddy has been an active leader in the medical community. In 2021, she was appointed Director of the Department of Dentistry at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, where she serves on the Medical Executive Board and works to improve hospital services for the community. Dr. Reddy is also committed to ongoing professional development, attending continuing education courses and conferences to stay current with the latest advances in pediatric dentistry.
Now in her 19th year at Dentistry of the Palisades, Dr. Reddy continues to lead the practice with the same passion and commitment to excellence that has defined her career.
