A graduate of Hofstra University, Dr. Styles earned his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 1991. He completed his orthopedic residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, serving as chief resident and orthopedic research fellow. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and holds memberships in the American College of Sports Medicine, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and the Westchester County Medical Society.
Dr. Styles has held numerous leadership roles, including Co-Director of Joint Replacement Surgery at Northern Westchester Hospital and committee member of the Putnam Hospital Health Information Management Committee. He also served on the Board of Trustees at Trinity-Pawling School.
An active contributor to his field, Dr. Styles has co-authored several orthopedic articles and textbooks and serves as an orthopedic team physician for various sporting events. He has also been featured on Talk Back Live on WOR Radio (New York 710 AM).
As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, Dr. Styles is committed to teaching and mentoring the next generation of orthopedic surgeons. He continues to provide expert care on staff at Putnam Hospital Center and Northern Westchester Hospital.
