He completed his general surgery internship at SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, followed by a residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery in 2000, where he developed comprehensive expertise in the full spectrum of ENT care.
Board-certified in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery, Dr. Patel maintains an active role within the otolaryngology department at NYU Langone Medical Center. He currently serves as Chairman of the Medical Board at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and has previously held leadership positions including Surgeon Director and Secretary of the Medical Board — a testament to the respect he has earned among his peers.
In addition to his clinical leadership, Dr. Patel has contributed to otolaryngology journals and textbooks and regularly presents at professional meetings. His continued involvement in research and education underscores his dedication to advancing the field and delivering the highest standard of care.
