Board-certified by both the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Berman offers a uniquely comprehensive approach that includes advanced surgical techniques as well as innovative, non-surgical treatment options. His dual certification ensures that each patient receives personalized care tailored to their individual needs and lifestyle. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Berman maintains medical and surgical privileges at Putnam Hospital Center and Danbury Hospital, and he serves on the surgical staff at the Orthopaedic & Specialty Surgery Center in Danbury. Additionally, he provides expert wound care as the podiatric provider at the Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen at Putnam Hospital.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Berman is committed to community education and professional leadership. He has authored numerous articles on foot health for local newspapers and magazines and served as the founding director of Podiatry at Monsey Family Medical Center from 1992 to 1994.
