A New York native, Dr. Levine earned his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany before attending Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University’s New York Program. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Montefiore Medical Center of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Cincinnati.
Following fellowship, Dr. Levine joined the faculty at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, where he ultimately became an Associate Professor. During his time there, he founded and served as Medical Director of the Upstate University IVF Center, helping establish a dedicated program for patients seeking advanced fertility care.
Dr. Levine later served as Medical Director of the Sher Institute for Reproductive Medicine (SIRM) in Westchester and as an attending physician at SIRM New York City. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to advancing fertility treatment while keeping the individual needs of each patient at the center of care.
Board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Dr. Levine has clinical and research interests that include infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, and endometriosis. He also has extensive experience with advanced endoscopic and laser surgery. His work has been published in numerous scientific papers, and he has shared his expertise through lectures and presentations at national meetings and conferences.
Beyond medical treatment, Dr. Levine believes in caring for the whole patient. He recognizes the role that stress, emotional well-being, and supportive therapies can play during the fertility journey and takes a comprehensive approach to helping patients navigate treatment. For Dr. Levine, fertility care is ultimately about helping patients move toward their goal of building the families they have hoped for.
