Presenting 2025 NY Top Dentist: Albert L. Granger, DDS
Albert L. Granger, DDS, a leading endodontist and founding partner of Premier Endodontics of Long Island, has been named a 2025 NY Top Dentist.
In February, Dr. Albert Granger once again demonstrated his steadfast commitment to Elizabethtown College by actively participating in the Board of Trustees meeting. With his signature enthusiasm and dedication to collaboration, Dr. Granger dove into the discussions, offering his insight and leadership to support the College’s mission of academic excellence. A longtime advocate for higher education, Dr. Granger knows the power of inspiring faculty. And he’s not alone—did you know that 96% of Elizabethtown College graduates had at least one faculty member who made them excited about learning?
Dr. Granger has served on the Elizabethtown College Board of Trustees since 2008, contributing his expertise across numerous committees. Before joining the Board, he was a dedicated member of the Elizabethtown College Leadership Council for several years. In recognition of his outstanding service and devotion to student success, he was honored in 2007 with the Dr. Charles S. Farver Apgar and Dr. Bessie D. Apgar Biology Alumni Award.
A proud Blue Jay, Dr. Granger earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Elizabethtown College in 1983. He then pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Howard College of Dentistry, completed his residency at Harlem Hospital/Sydenham N.F.C.C.—where he was Chief Resident from 1988 to 1989—and earned his Endodontics Certification from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. In 2007, he expanded his expertise by completing the Implant Maxi Course at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Granger is the Founding Partner of Premier Endodontics of Long Island, PLLC, and formerly served as an assistant professor at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.
