I have uneven eyelids result from a previous double eyelid surgery years ago. One day I decided to have it corrected. Prior to meeting with Dr. Lao, I was on the verge of giving up the idea of surgery since the first Doctor I saw told me that my situation is not treatable. Consultation (which is free) with Dr. Lao was easy and pleasant. Dr. Lao told me that my problem can be easily solved with minimum invasive suture technic. That is exactly what I had hoped for!! As a plastic surgeon, I think Dr. Lao possesses a great deal of aesthetic sense, as well as good medical skills. At the meeting, he pointed out that my upper eyelids are sunken, a fat grafting procedure would enhance my appearance, so we decided to have both procedures done at the same time. I am so glad I did it, because the surgery had transformed my eyes. A couple of weeks after the surgery, the eyes looking natural, the result is beyond anything I had expected. I love my new eyes! This entire process is so easy. I am so grateful!

I had upper eyelid, lower eyelid and mid eye surgery (asian eye surgery) with Dr. Lao, and I am so happy with my results! I was pretty worried about having my eyes done, but felt assured about going with Dr. Lao after seeing another doctor first, then getting a referral from a different that doctor I trust. I researched Dr. Lao online and was impressed with his education and experience. He has experience performing asian eye surgery overseas and here in New York, so I felt that he really understood what my goals were. On my first consultation, I was warmly greeted by Nancy, who answered a lot of my questions and was so kind from my first visit to my last. Dr. Lao took his time to get to know me, ask me questions, and show me tons of before-and-after photos that assured me that he knew what he was talking about and knew what I wanted. Dr. Lao’s bed side manner is impeccable! He is a kind and caring doctor that made me feel like he really cared about me. A lot doctors make people feel like they are just a number, but Dr. Lao took his time and it made me feel so assured that I was making the right choice. And I’m so glad I did. Dr. Lao and Nancy checked up on me BEFORE my surgery to make sure I was doing ok in getting ready for my big day, then surgery came and although I was nervous, I was surrounded by the nicest group of medical professionals that helped me feel at ease. I did my eye under local, which was little intense, but again, the team helped to put me at ease the entire time. I could Dr. lao spoke to me during the procedure and hearing his voice was comforting, like he was a good friend. Recovery was, as expected, uncomfortable, Dr Lao called me that night and then next morning, then told me to text or call him if i had any questions. I thought that was so awesome. I followed my recovery instructions, took it very easy and bruising was not too bad. The bruises actually went away in about 4-5 days, but minimal swelling lingered for a bit. I went back to work about 10-12 days after my surgery, and no one suspected anything! Today it has been 35 days since my surgery, and my eyes look so natural and fresh! I have no scars, or any sign of surgery. There is a tiny bit of swelling (so minimal only I can notice) but every day I wake up with better and better looking eyes! I can only say I am so glad I did this for myself and so very glad I chose Dr. Lao to do it!

Dr. Lao is very nice and has incredible skills. He is one out of many doctors that I have consulted who can actually do suture upper Eyelid. ， all other doctors claimed that they do not do it, but my eyelids are so thin, removing excessive skins as a part of incisional blepharoplasty is not good fit for me. I like my results, it looked very natural and made me look younger.

Dr. Lao performed my brow lift and the results were beautiful. It enabled me to restart my modeling career.
