About Michael G. Stewart, MD

Dr. Michael G. Stewart is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, and Otolaryngologist-in-Chief at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He also serves as Senior Associate Dean of International Affairs and Affiliates for the Medical College, and is also Professor of Population Health Sciences.

Dr. Stewart’s clinical practice is comprehensive otolaryngology, and he has particular interest in nose and sinus disease, sleep breathing disorders, and head and neck trauma. He is the author of 2 textbooks, as well as more than 30 book chapters and 120 peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Stewart’s research interests are in outcomes and quality of life research, and he has received research funding from the NIH, AHRQ, the AAOHNS Foundation, other foundations, and industry.
