Dr. Robert W. Bruno is a specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics providing traditional braces and Invisalign to children and adults for over 30 years. He is the owner and founder of Bruno Braces, a practice that serves Woodside and the surrounding communities with excellence and compassion.

He graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University with a BS in biology. Dr. Bruno completed his dental training at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, Dr. Bruno did a one-year general practice residency program at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Medical Center. He received his postgraduate orthodontic specialty training at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Bruno has been practicing orthodontics since 1989 and is known for his practical, intuitive approach to straightening teeth, and for creating treatment plans that fit each individual’s needs. He is dedicated to his career and treats each patient as if that person were a member of his family.

In his spare time, Dr. Bruno enjoys long-distance cycling, playing the guitar, attending live concerts, kayaking, hiking, and working with essential oils.
