About George Guirguis, DO, FACOG

George Guirguis, DO, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician, gynecologist, and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist, as well as the Director and CEO of PDC Ultrasound. Dr. Guirguis specializes in managing complex pregnancies, including medical, genetic, and surgical complications, providing comprehensive care and advanced monitoring to support both mothers and their unborn babies.

Dr. Guirguis earned his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Morristown Medical Center through Atlantic Health System, followed by fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey.

Board-certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Guirguis is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Through his expertise and dedication, Dr. Guirguis remains committed to providing the highest level of care for mothers and their babies.

I can hardly put into words how incredible my experience with my maternal fetal medicine care was. I felt completely safe under the care of Dr. Guirguis and truly appreciated the precautions he took throughout my pregnancy. He always made me feel comfortable asking questions and never once made me feel like a burden. Dr. Guirguis goes above and beyond for his patients—he makes you feel like family. Some people might think that going twice a week for scans is “a lot,” but those scans and precautions we took literally saved my baby’s life. On a Friday, everything looked fine, but by Monday, things had changed drastically. Because of those precautions, we were able to act quickly—and now my daughter is here, healthy, and so am I. I tell everyone that my little girl is here today because of Dr. Guirguis. If you’re a patient of Dr. Guirguis, you are in the best of hands!

Kirsten, the ultrasound technician, was absolutely wonderful – so kind, patient, and gentle throughout the entire appointment. She took her time explaining what she was doing, answered all of my questions, and made me feel completely at ease during such an important scan.
