He offers advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including epidurals, nerve blocks, joint injections, spinal cord stimulation, and more—helping patients find long-term relief and regain their quality of life.
Dr. Schottenstein completed his interventional pain management training at Columbia University/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, consistently ranked among the top hospitals in the nation. He received his neurology training at Emory University, home to one of the country’s leading neurology programs.
In addition to leading NY Spine Medicine, Dr. Schottenstein serves as an assistant professor of anesthesiology and neurosurgery at Cornell University, part of the region’s top-ranked hospital system. He is an active member of several leading medical organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology, the American Society of Anesthesiology, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the International Spine Intervention Society, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians—staying at the forefront of innovation in pain medicine.
