Dr. Daniel E. Stein
Dr. Daniel E. Stein is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and fertility specialist with more than 30 years of experience caring for patients with a wide range of reproductive and fertility concerns. He serves as Director of Reproductive Medicine of New York’s Westside office and Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology at Mount Sinai West Hospital.
Dr. Stein previously served as Medical Director of the In Vitro Fertilization program at the former Continuum Reproductive Center and as Acting Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the former St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospitals. He also serves as Medical Director of WIN Fertility, a leading fertility benefit management company.
He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. His areas of expertise include infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, recurrent implantation failure, and egg freezing.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Stein was born and raised in Brooklyn. Outside of medicine, he enjoys woodworking, exercise, music, theater, and spending time with his family.

I met Dr. Stein in 2003. I found him to knowledge, patient, and honest. He didn’t sugar coat anything, but promised to do his best during my IVF journey. I was sitting at my dining room table and out of the blue he came to mind. I wanted to thank him for my heartbeat who is now 21. I don’t know who this is for…. if you’re traveling this journey of infertility, Dr. Stein may not be your only choice, but he is amongst the best to choose from. Dr. Stein and RMA made the IUI process seamless for us. Dr. Stein was amazing; direct, quick, to the point, a classic New Yorker which we absolutely loved. He was extremely detail oriented. The process was so so easy. All of the nurses at RMA are extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Nurse Melissa was our saving grace. She was extremely helpful and always there to assist us. We have a 9 month old baby girl because of RMA 🙂🙂
